We would like to tell you the secret to making the most delicious “Catalan Meatballs”, which are part of the traditional Christmas dish of Soup with vegetables and meats called“Escudella i Carn d’Olla”. Enjoy the Mediterranean flavours!.
Ingredients:
200 g minced beef
200 g minced pork
2 eggs
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
1 tablespoon flour
Parsley and one Garlic clove (if you like garlic)
Steps:
1) Mix the 2 minced meats together
2) Add 2 Eggs and mix very well. Add the bread crumbs, parsley and chopped garlic. Mix well.
3) Divide in 2 parts. On a plate with flour, roll each part giving it shape.
4) To cook, add to the last 20 minutes of the boiling Catalan Christmas Soup (Escudella).
