Seafood is a type of food which better contributes to the Mediterranean diet identity.Fish is basic food in the Mediterranean diet, thanks to protein and several mineral contribution. Nutrition values are not less important than milk, eggs or meat. Generally, fish is an important source of vitamin B, fish meat is considered as a valuable source of calcium, phosphorus and iron.
